The Mariposa brood band consists of many ‘old fashion’ bloodlines. It is interesting to note that both main stallions (Giant Mingo and Hawks Jay Jay) do not go back to Doc Bar and are two of the few QH stallions in Australia with all-American bloodlines that are excellent for out-crossing to Doc Bar mares.
